Where We Ride
Iconic
Regions
We guide across three of England and Wales’s most rewarding mountain biking landscapes — each with its own character, terrain, and hidden trails waiting to be discovered.
Shropshire Hills
Eastridge and Stipperstones - Steep and fun technical sections
Discover a side of mountain biking most riders never get to experience. Nestled in the Shropshire Hills, Eastridge Woods and the Stiperstones offer a unique blend of hidden singletrack, rugged natural terrain and breathtaking landscapes far removed from the crowds and waymarked routes.
Eastridge Woods is a rider’s playground of technical forest trails. Expect rooty descents, rocky features, tight corners and fast, flowing sections that reward skill and confidence. With a mix of established lines and lesser-known off-piste trails, this is the perfect place to push your riding and explore terrain you wouldn’t normally find on your own. Surrounded by dense woodland and elevated viewpoints, every ride here feels like a true escape.
Just beyond the forest, the Stiperstones take things to another level. This wild, exposed ridge offers big views, big climbs and unforgettable descents across open moorland. The riding here is raw and adventurous, linking natural bridleways, rocky tracks and sweeping hillsides into routes that feel remote and untamed. It’s a place where every turn opens up a new perspective, with panoramic views stretching across the Shropshire Hills and into Wales.
The Long Mynd – Big Views, Big Descents
Rising above Church Stretton, the Long Mynd offers some of the most iconic and exhilarating mountain biking in the region. Known for its sweeping landscapes and dramatic elevation, this is riding on a bigger, more open scale, where every climb earns you a descent worth remembering.
The Long Mynd is all about natural riding. Wide, rolling climbs lead you high onto the plateau, where panoramic views stretch for miles across the Shropshire Hills and beyond into Wales. From here, a network of classic descents drops you back into the valleys below—fast, loose, and full of character.
Trails run from Carding Mill Valley, Ashes Hollow and the descents into Little Stretton and Minton have become favourites among riders, each offering a different feel. Expect rocky sections, water bars, natural drainage channels and long, flowing lines that test both control and confidence. Conditions change with the weather, making every ride slightly different and adding to the sense of adventure.
Bucknell & Hopton Woods – Flow, Features & Hidden Gems
Tucked away near Bucknell, Hopton Woods offers some of the most fun, varied and progressive riding in the region. Known for its flowing singletrack and well-built features, this is a place where natural terrain meets creative trail building—perfect for riders looking to develop skills while still chasing great descents.
Hopton is packed with character. Expect berms, rollers, tabletops and technical sections woven into the hillside, alongside more natural, rooty and off-camber trails. The network ranges from accessible, flowy lines to steeper, more technical descents, giving riders plenty of options to push themselves at their own pace.
Just beyond, the surrounding hills around Bucknell open up even more hidden riding. Linking woodland trails with quiet bridleways and lesser-known descents, this area delivers
a mix of playful riding and short, punchy adventures—ideal for building confidence or simply enjoying a day on the bike without the crowds.
Cannock Chase
More Than Just Trail Centre Riding
Located in Cannock Chase, this vast area of woodland is one of the UK’s most well-known riding destinations—but there’s far more here than the official trail centre loops.
While the purpose-built trails at Cannock Chase Trail Centre offer fast, flowing riding and a great introduction to the area, they only scratch the surface of what the Chase really has to offer.
Covering over 68 square kilometres, Cannock Chase is a huge, diverse landscape of forest, heathland and hidden valleys. Beyond the marked routes lies an extensive network of unofficial trails—linking tight woodland singletrack, technical sections, fast descents and lesser-known features that most riders never find.
This is where the real adventure begins.
Wyre Forest
Fast Flow & Forest Singletrack
Located just outside Kidderminster, Wyre Forest is one of the largest ancient woodlands in the UK—and a fantastic destination for varied, fast-paced mountain biking.
Known for its mix of flowing trail centre family routes and expansive natural riding, Wyre offers something a little different. The official trails provide a smooth track that’s perfect for building confidence and carrying speed, while deeper into the forest you’ll find a network of quieter, lesser-known trails that add a more adventurous edge to the ride.
The terrain here is generally more forgiving than steeper hill locations, but that doesn’t mean it’s boring. Expect winding singletrack, rooty and technical sections, punchy climbs and plenty of opportunities to keep the ride fun and engaging. The dense woodland gives a real sense of escape, with long stretches of trail where you can simply focus on the flow.
The Wrekin
Steep Climbs, Big Technical Rewards
Rising prominently above the Shropshire landscape, The Wrekin is one of the area’s most iconic landmarks—and a surprisingly exciting place to ride.
While it may not be the biggest hill in the region, what the Wrekin lacks in size it more than makes up for in character. Steep, punchy climbs lead quickly to the summit, where incredible views stretch across the surrounding countryside. From there, a network of hidden descents drops back down through woodland and open hillside, offering fast, technical and often challenging riding.
The trails here are natural, raw and constantly changing. Expect rocky sections, loose surfaces, tight turns and steep gradients that demand focus and control. It’s the kind of riding that keeps you engaged from top to bottom—and leaves you wanting another lap.
The Wrekin is not a place to ride if your a beginner, it's very steep and technical.

What Riders Say
Real Rides,
Real Stories
Jon’s attention to detail and pacing was superb. I had very little experience in riding trails. Jon took the time at the onset to assess my level of skill, and on-the-fly tailored the perfect ride for me. We took breaks throughout the session, where Jon gave me expert feedback and tips, which were just challenging enough so that I saw major improvements on the day. All thanks to Jon, I was able to experience some seriously fun off-piste trails with confidence. I had a blast! I can’t wait for my next lesson.

Who We Are
Benefits of
riding your bike
Mountain biking offers more than just the thrill of the ride—it provides lasting benefits for both mind and body. In a fast-paced world, it creates space to slow down, breathe, and reset, with the steady rhythm of pedaling and the focus on the trail helping to clear stress and sharpen your thinking.
Being outdoors naturally boosts mood and reduces anxiety, while the physical effort releases endorphins that enhance overall wellbeing. At the same time, tackling challenging terrain builds confidence, resilience, and self-belief, qualities that carry into everyday life. Whether riding with others and sharing the experience or heading out alone for quiet reflection, mountain biking fosters a strong sense of connection. Ultimately, it’s not just a sport, but a powerful way to feel better, think more clearly, and return to daily life feeling stronger and more balanced.
